mindful spaces

for homebodies, by homebodies

Saigon Self-Care is a concept space designed for those who are looking for ways to feel more at home, both in their physical surroundings and in their own identities. To us, a homebody isn’t necessarily someone who prefers to be at home in solitude but anyone who finds comfort in introspection and self-reflection. Through simple self-care practices, we become more balanced and aligned versions of ourselves, better suited to making an impact on the world around us. That’s why our mission is to create mindful spaces for homebodies.

There is a lot of unrealistic self-care content out there, but self-care isn’t perfectly curated morning routines or aesthetic living rooms. Saigon Self-Care believes in self-care made simple. That’s why we’re all about condensing self-care to a few things that produce the most results. We share resources and information to create mindful spaces for homebodies, wherever you may be. Whether you’re a homebody in a bustling city or small town, introvert or extrovert, minimalist or maximalist, we hope you find home in yourselves.

about the founder

Amanda Luu founded Saigon Self-Care in 2023 after moving halfway across the world to Saigon, Vietnam, a bustling city of nearly 9 million people.

As a self-proclaimed minimalist, introvert, and homebody, Amanda committed to putting simple systems in place and creating a space to nurse her homesickness and help her feel grounded in a big city far from home. She filled her space and time with carefully curated things and rituals, prioritizing self-care, healing, and creativity.

Saigon Self-Care reflects Amanda’s journey to finding her place in the world. It is a space for those looking for ways to feel more at home, both in their physical surroundings and in their own identities.
